Asset Management Platform Switzerland Recommends CFA Institute Asset Manager Code to Its Members

CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence, announces that the Asset Management Platform Switzerland (AMP) is recommending the adoption of the CFA Institute Asset Manager Code (AMC) to its members, if they have not already implemented their own Code of Conduct.

Swiss Asset Managers‘ Survey: The purchasing power of the Swiss is likely to increase further

The outlook for the Swiss economy has worsened. Geopolitical uncertainty and the economic downturn in other regions are causes for concern. The Swiss franc’s value has increased further, and experts anticipate that it will continue to appreciate against the leading currencies. Asset Management Study 2019: Sustainable investments and product specialisation as opportunities

The Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the Asset Management Platform Switzerland have produced the second edition (2019) of the IFZ/AMP Asset Management Study providing a comprehensive overview on asset management in Switzerland. It shows that the sector has assets under management totalling CHF 2,161 billion and a positive environment on an international comparison.

Asset management in Switzerland: Asset growth and good conditions

It shows that the sector has assets under management totalling CHF 2,208 billion, up 12% year-on-year, and a positive environment on an international comparison. Increasing regulation and client acquisition are seen as the greatest challenges.
